New Artwork | Potel et Chabot

We had the privilege of being given carte blanche for this first collaboration with Potel & Chabot. What a joy for François-Xavier Richard to imagine an entire décor inspired by a fantastical and whimsical vision of Paris.

In a way, this project is a manifesto of the techniques and craftsmanship of Ateliers d’Offard. Based on an original drawing by the founder of the workshops, several techniques were combined and complemented one another to bring this creation to life in record time.

From the initial drawing to its digitisation and transformation into 3D, from moulding and engraving to the final hand-finishing of each sculpture: each stage played an essential role in gradually bringing the décor to life.
